The windows are in! The latest phase of the steady improvement of the Knights Templar International Budapest HQ is being completed right now. Visitors to our Chapter House our now ‘blown away’ by the pair of entrance doors to the main meeting room. One shows a traditional Templar knight, while the other bears the stained glass image of a 21st century Templar in full tactical gear.
In the main meeting room, three of the four new windows are now in (see below) and the fourth will be installed by the end of the week. So the next photos we show you will have the light streaming through the powerful images of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. By then all the superbly arched and decorated ceilings should all be fully renovated too.
Visitors are already impressed, and we are confident that once the whole programme of works is complete, all who come to Budapest will be very much more than impressed.
Meanwhile, our work outside continues too. Below is a photo showing our presence at an important demonstration outside the Polish Embassy in Budapest. We’ll tell you what it was all about shortly, but suffice it to say that, while we now have a fine base in the city, it is not our intention to sit inside it congratulating ourselves. Because there is work to be done!
