Saint John’s Day, June the 24th, is a particular importance day to the Templars. It is also the day that The Battle of Bannockburn took place; the battle was turned at the hands of the Templars who had taken refuge in Scotland after they had been expelled from France in 1307.

On June 24 of 1324, Robert the Bruce of Scotland, with approximately 6,000 Scots, defeated 20,000 English soldiers. Exactly what took place has never really been recorded, but it is believed that Bruce did it with the help of a special force of Knights Templar.
