The commander of the US Army in Europe says cuts to the British Army have left it under-resourced.
It comes a day after the Chief of the General Staff’s admission that the regular Army is at its smallest since the days of Oliver Cromwell.

He added: “I think the British Army needs to be more resourced… [It’s] being asked to do so much.”
