A gremlin got inside our system the other day so a batch of posts didn’t hit Facebook. Here’s one of them!

After the infamous arrests of the Knights Templar on October 13, 1307, some sixty of the highest of the order’s officials were brought here in August, 1308. All were imprisoned deep in the donjon of the Coudray Tower, including their Grand Master, Jacques de Molay. The monk-soldiers engraved a number of carvings, graffiti, into the walls. Today, most of the graffiti is preserved behind thick glass.
