Thousands of motorcyclists have joined an annual pilgrimage to the National Memorial Arboretum to remember the UK’s fallen service men and women.

More than 7,000 bikers took part in the 10th Ride to the Wall event.

There were 11 official start points around the UK where bikers could begin their journey en masse to join a service at the Armed Forces Memorial, near Alrewas in Staffordshire.

Some came all the way from Scotland to pay tribute.

At the service was music from The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals, Lichfield Gospel Choir, Sincerely Yours, Gari Glaysher, Abigail Carter-Simpson and Oliver Moriarty.
